This piece was created from a recessed panel section of a vintage door. The panel ran the majority of the length of the door - resulting in an extra long coat rack (62"). This size coat rack is difficult to duplicate, given the difficulty finding vintage doors with panels running the entire length of the door. The wood has been refinished with dark stain, and "Grand Central Station" has been painted in ivory. This door originally came with a quirky latch attached to it; the latch has been cleaned & reattached to add character. Seven vintage doorknobs (4 metal and 3 white porcelain) have been mounted for your hangables - along with vintage label holders above each; label each knob with your own sentiments.
