This special edition piece is sure to generate conversation and "mail" amongst family members in your home! Created from a vintage highboy chest of drawers, it has been retrofitted with 6 compartments for "mail", each complete with it's own P.O. Box door. The authentic vintage doors are circa 1957, and each has it's own working combination. The top drawer was removed & slots have been added above each mailbox. The drawer containing the mailboxes is secured to the chest with screws on the back side, allowing access into the drawer in case a combination is misplaced. The woodwork has been refinished with ebony stain and satin clear finish. Vintage bin pulls have been added to the 3 remaining drawers - great for storing household items! The original keyhole covers and wooden casters are still in place. This piece is truly one of a kind, and will add character & fun to your family living space.
