This piece was created from a recessed panel section of a salvaged door. The original white paint finish was carefully sanded to reveal bits of raw wood around the edges; there are also small bits of beige and a subtle crackle texture to the finish. A vintage victorian tub filler faucet is mounted in the center. The faucet is a silver color and does have some wear and pitting in areas, revealing a brassy color beneath the silver (see photos). The handles, which still turn, are marked with an embossed "C" and "H." The faucet is stamped: "Paragon the Sanitary Co. Clev'd O." Three vintage schoolhouse style double hooks are mounted along the bottom edge (gunmetal color); two of the hooks match and the center hooks is a slightly different style. All hardware has been coated with a clear enamel to protect it from a bathroom environment. The lettering is hand painted in black. This one of a kind towel rack will add vintage style to your bath! 24.25" wide by 22" tall; projects roughly 5" from the wall. Hangs using 2 keyhole slots routed into the back.
