This chalkboard was created from an antique oval picture frame.  The original faux woodgrain frame finish was clearcoated, and a green chalkboard was inserted into the opening.  There are some cracks on the surface of the frame, adding to it's patina.  The inside edge of the frame is highlighted with gold paint, and "Notes" is painted on the chalkboard - also in gold.  Hangs flush with your wall using keyhole slots routed into the back. The magnetic chalkboard was cut from factory-made, porcelain coated steel (see link below for more info on the chalkboard).  19" by 22"
