This piece was created from a vintage window sash.  The frame is has been carefully sanded to achieve the current color combination of raw wood, caramel brown, ivory, and taupe-gray. There are 2 original spring loaded fasteners running through either side of the frame (see photos). The backing is a floral fabric in creams, beige, soft sage and teal greens, sky blue, and medium brown.  A "valance" has been fashioned from the edge of a vintage table cloth with crocheted lace trim.  27 Rue de Francois/ Patisserie/ crepes ~ gateaux ~ tartes ~ croissants ~ bonbons (French); 27 Francois Road (an address)/ Pastry shop/ crepes, cake, pie, croissants, candy (English). A truly unique accent for your kitchen!  28" wide x 23.25" tall
