This piece was crafted from a vintage window sash.  The frame is refinished with antiqued white paint.  The background is a white fabric with green & cherry red stripes; the edge of a vintage embroidered pillowcase forms the "valance".  A gelateria is an Italian ice cream shop; spumoni, tartufi, and semifreddo are all Italian dessert specialties.  19" x 28"
