This coat rack was crafted from a vintage recessed panel door.  The original painted finish was carefully sanded to achieve the current amber yellow color, along with some raw wood. There is a significant crackle texture to the finish, which adds a leather-like character.  Painted in dark brown is the lettered design "Concierge - please check your coat."  Five vintage doorknobs (3 metal, 2 glass) have been attached for your coats, along with brass label holders for each knob.  Hangs with keyhole slots, routed 32" apart, into the back.  Measures 43.5" x 15"; projects roughly ~3.5" from the wall.  A great functional piece to add some style to your entryway or mudroom!
