Story: The print on this grain sack indicates that it came from a mill named "Thivat and Co.", which was in the town of Saint Germain, D.E., Salle - in France. The bag also indicates that it held a mixture of grain. Using the bag's history as inspiration, lettering has been hand painted onto the glass. A street in the town of Saint Germain was chosen (Rue des Varennes) along with a fictional address number. Perhaps a small bakery (Boulangerie), established around 1960, could have had a grain sack like this on hand.
