See link below for additional photos of this coat rack. This unique coat/towel rack was created from a section of a recessed panel door. The door was cut lengthwise down the middle, creating this coat rack with one large & one small panel. The original paint finish was carefully sanded to reveal the current color combination of chippy white paint and raw wood. Character is apparent in the finish; visible raw wood has an aged appearance and there are areas where an imprint remains from the old hinges. "Monsieur" and "Mademoiselle" have been painted in black, and a clear satin finish seals the piece. An assortment of vintage doorknobs have been attached - 3 utilitarian ones for "Monsieur", 6 fancier ones for "Mademoiselle". All knobs have are silver, gray, or gunmetal colors. This piece hangs using a French cleat system (2 pieces total). One cleat is mounted to the back, and 1 piece is provided to mount to your wall studs- the cleats slide together to hold the coat rack. 16" tall x 74.25" wide.
