This piece was created from a vintage 6 pane window sash.  The frame has been refinished with black paint, but evidence of patina is still apparent from the texture left on the frame (old paint layers).  Displayed beneath the glass is a vintage USA map, originally printed for the Rexall drugstore.  There is no date listed on the front of the map, but it can be dated to between 1930-1940 - as there is USA census data on the reverse side.  The census data listed is from the 1920 & 1930 census results.  Alaska and Hawaii are as both listed as territories.  See the link below for more info on the map.  Add some color and vintage style to your place with this vintage map window!  19.25" x 29.25"
