This piece was created from a vintage 6 pane window sash.  The frame has been refinished with dark stain.  The background is a vintage map of England and Wales; the map was originally folded into a cardboard jacket (see lower photo), and the fold lines are still present.  There is no date listed on the map; however, the map does appear to be older.  The map shows England, Wales, and the lower portion of Scotland.  It is a sepia tone with black print.  Hand painted onto the glass are the following cities:  Glasgow (Scotland), Edinburgh (Scotland), Liverpool (England), Leeds (England), Cardiff (Wales), and London (England).  A great piece for your den, library, or office!  27 1/8" wide by 31 3/4" tall.
