This piece was created from a vintage window sash.  The frame has been painted white, but patina from old layers of paint is still present.  The background is a paisley pattern fabric in greens, red, and blue -topped with a "valance" fashioned from a sage green vintage table runner.  The original design has been hand painted onto the glass and reads: Rue 57 de Paris, Boulangerie, gateaux-tartes-baguettes-croissants-beignets (French); Road 57 in Paris, Bakery, cakes-pies-baguettes-croissants-doughnuts (English). 20" x 28"
